These jeans are perfect. I got them last week and wore them for the first time today. Buy a size down from what you normally wear though. Most NYDJ fit one size smaller, so I already knew to do that. At first I was kind of skeptical that they would maintain their shape after wearing, but they did not disappoint. The fabric is heavier than most ponte knits, and the pull-up style doesn't add bulk with zippers and actual pockets. They are great if you have curvy thighs. Most times I have problems with jeans and pants being too tight in that area. I like that they are of good quality material and they can be used for casual and casual-dress occasions. I plan to buy another pair. These pants fit SO well. I tried the denim, but they were a bit too short from the crotch up, and a bit tight in the leg for my figure. I need the stretch in my upper leg, and the spandex has what I need. Being able to pull these pants on means you don't see any shadow of a zipper or button on your jersey blouse either. This is THE perfect pant, as far as I'm concerned. The only thing that would have been better is if I had been able to find them in a petite - then I wouldn't need to hem them, but that's a small price to pay.Just got these for a trip and they were perfect. Ordered size 12 (usually wear 14). They were extremely comfortable all day including several hour plane ride, didn't stretch out or get baggy, and looked great at the end of the day. Actually wore them another day, and for the return trip and they still looked good. Neat enough to wear to dinner or work, and really pleasant to wear. Thinking of buying another pair for future use, since I'm sure they will discontinue them since I Love them (!!). I washed them before the first use, cold water and low dryer and they were fine. I'm 5'9" and the length is good for meI am used to my NYDJ jeans to be one size up. I ordered these in a 12 and they should have had ample room, but they are tight, not wide enough in the rear (or maybe it's me that's too wide) and they have a tendency to slip below the waistline. I wish the waist line was higher. The waist runs big and if I had bought the larger size it would have been fine in the hips but way too big in the waist. On the positive side, they are very thick, well made and look great on.They are just not as comfortable as my NYDJ jeans!I love these jeans and know they will fit me because I have worn them before. Just order a size down from what you normally wear. The material, styling and construction are just right for me. Nice slim fit, but not skinny. These are my favorites of all my NYDJ jeans. They're comfortable, yet make me look sleek, and they have belt loops which I love. The front though is very flat so there's absolutely no tummy bulge, not even brom a button. I have two pair and go back and forth, wash and wear. I suppose I should get another pair, right?Wait, can one "love" a pair of pants? Given that they hug me, I figure I get to anthropomorphize a bit... The fabric is dense, therefore warm, just know that going in. I'm 5'9" - 170 lbs - long legs and big butt -- and I can't remember another pair of pants that has fit so well right out of the box. Fabulous.Love these pants; a little snug as I am very hippie, a little difficult to get over my hips. but once on they look fabulous.I discovered NYDJ a few years ago - and I've worn their jeans exclusively since ... but then I got a job that requires me to wear black (non-denim) pants to work ... These pants saved the day! They fit the same as the jeans (which I think is a size down from regular size - so in other brands I wear a 12, but in these I wear a 10.) They are pull-ons, almost like dressy yoga pants. One funny thing is that they have a fake button on the front, so might be a little bit of a wiggle-dance to pull them up at first. They will stretch out.
