Since they advise to go a size smaller, I would say they fit as expected. These are very flattering and are well made. The waist has a metal button closure with a metal zipper. These jeans are made to flatter a woman and has some spandex for slimming. These are quality all the way. The metal button has the Jen7 logo on it. The brads on the pockets are made of the same metal and have the same shine as the logo metal, and is also on the back pockets. The Logo is on one of the back pockets and within the waist. Follow all instructions for washing. Wear beige undies and if you wear colored ones instead, check to make sure that the color doesn't show through. These are white and white clothing is always iffy with other colors.I didn't realize until receiving these that Jen7 is a part of Seven for Mankind jeans... I've owned several pairs of those. It's nice to see them going back to the higher end quality after having several cheaper versions of their brand for department stores. These jeans definitely live up to premium denim price tag.I love the rise on these. I have a straight waist and love high-waisted fits to create more curves. These fit in that 70's style of rise. They give me much more of a booty than I really have, which is definitely a plus. Not sure how these would flatter curvier chicks, but if you want to CREATE curves, I highly recommend. At first, I planned to take these to get shortened by about an inch or so, but they look kind of cute rolled. I usually wear a 0-2 and the zero is a great fit. If you are in between sizes like me, I'd say order down, but otherwise maybe order both sizes to try.I wish they weren't so sheer. You can see in my pic how the pockets are visible. DEFINITELY need a nude thong with these.I usually wear a 16 but these were too big in a 16 and lose their stretch easily. I found myself constantly pulling them up when I wore them for a full day, and wished I hadn't. The fabric feels really inexpensive and doesn't stretch quite right. I strongly prefer Amazon's house brand for black skinny jeans (https://www.amazon.com/Madison-Denim-Parsons-Waisted-Stretch/dp/B0742434XF?ref_=w_bl_sl_l_ap_ap_web_17377163011).I have several pairs of Jen7 jeans and some of them are among my favorites, but this pair really misses the mark. Not only is it sized completely wrong, my 4 was more of a 0-2, the fabric is extremely thin and not lined. I have owned thin white pants that still looked lovely because they were fully lined, but there are not, rendering them no better than some of the cheaper jeggings you can buy at discount stores. These are still wearable with some of my slouchy tunics and that way they are still cute, which is why I gave them 2 stars.Jen7 Women's Skinny Jeans aren't my favorite. They are thin - so much that since they are a little small/ and made to be tight they are a little see through. They are soft and feel good once on. But I'm not ordering more. They are incredibly comfortable. They have an amazing ability to stretch with you. I could wear them with a weight gain or lose for at least two size changes. They run large. I’m 5’3” and the length works well. I could take a yoga class in them. They look great on, the fit and lines will make most any size/shape look great. The quality is excellent, stitching and straight lines and zipper. What makes a jean, jeans? These have pockets like jeans, zipper like jeans, and are cut like skinny jeans. According to Wikipedia, jeans are, “a type of trousers, typically made from denim or dungaree cloth”. The material is more like a strong legging material. I would not call these jeans. I would call them structured leggings or jean like leggings.Often times skinny jeans end up being too tight on me, but these felt normal--actually more like regular pants than skinny pants. If one wants a tight fit, it might make sense to go down a size. The white color was a bright white, but I found it easy to match with different tops. The fabric of these was only partially cotton, but still felt comfortable when I tried them on. My main issue with these was the length. I'm very short, and these are very long on me, so I had to keep rolling them up. Overall though, I found this to be an attractive/versatile pair of white jeans. These look so good! White jeans can be hit-or-miss. They can be a little thin and unflattering as a result but these look fantastic! The material has a little bit of texture to it that I love and the fit is super flattering from all angles. If I'm being super nitpicky I wish the ankles were a little bit more fitted but overall I'm super happy with these.
