If you are a string bean and like your jeans to hang wide and square off of your body, excellent, these are for you.If you have any curvature - and I am a lean, athletic, but curvy human - they will hang on you like a denim frock and cut you off at the late calf adding at least 10lbs to your look and certainly deterring any remotely fashion friendly onlookers from appreciating your casual look. It might encourage fellow panhandlers. If you want it slightly tapered so it thins at the ankle and adds an elegant but casual high water look to your closet without the choked off skinny jean look, I am deeply satisfied with the wedgie SKINNY. Because it fits exactly like a jean should, where a jean should, and is flattering everytime, without boxing me out. There is a reason so many of the models in the icon wedgie are wearing those god awful platform space camp boots I thought we got rid of in 1979 - skip the hassle, get the "skinny" cut.It was difficult for me to discern how these jeans would fit so I guessed and sized up from a 27 to a 28. Upon trying on the jeans my first impression was that they fit more like '80s Levis than today's fit. There is pretty much no stretch and they are a button fly. Back in the day, I used to wear my fiance's 501s and he wore a 32. They sat lower on the hips and the waist was a little bit big. These 28s fit snug to my waist, hips, and thighs, not tight tho'. I have a feeling the fabric will relax and they will be looser with wear.I love these jeans so much after I finally found the size I needed, everyone in the reviews talks about sizing up and how they run small, they have to be confused about what size they really wear because I had to send mine back for a smaller size and really could have went another size down. I am 120lbs 5feet tall and wear a size 4, a 27 is what I ended up with but a 26 would have worked too! I even feel like Levi’s sizing chart is off my an inch. These are super comfortable and work for shorties thanks to the 26 inch inseam! Love them, also saw a few reviews saying they are fake, not true, I have the same pair in a different color from nordstroms and they are the real deal!Ridiculously short, enormous in the waist, and tight on my hips/calves/thighs/knees. I don’t know a single person who would describe this as straight leg but I guess it’s straight leg for people with more straight bodies. If you’re curvy, i’m not sure how these are going to fit you unless you’re also short, MAYBE. I wear size 31 in the original wedgies which are longer than these and tighter in the waist and looser in the legs/knees.I have the Better Weathered(faded black/dark gray), Athens Shut It (medium blue) and Lifes Work(dark blue) in 25 and they all fit slightly different. The Dark blue fits perfectly and has a real wedgie, flattering fit in the rear. The gray is a tiny bit looser, wedgie is not as pronounced and flattens the rear somewhat. The medium blue runs small, is very fitted in the waist and hips, and has no give whatsoever. A 26 may have been better. Regardless, im keeping them all. Quality is great and they’re the best fitting rigid, mom style jeans i’ve found. About me-I have a 26w 36h. 25/26 in rigid denim, almost always a 26 in skinny/stretch denim.Snug, tighter fit at hips & waist. Purchased normal 23 in Levi’s, and it feels good knowing it would eventually form as I wear them. Wedgie icon fit is my recent fav., but straight leg has nice and pretty line as well & straight leg has more opening less sliming/tapered look from keens down. Wonderful high waisted & bottom fly style. High quality, durable, no stretch and heavy denim, so in love… and as I’m getting more premium Levi’s replacing my old jeans, I can’t go back reg Levi’s (not saying bad quality, but I think they are less durability) or other stretchy jeans in general. Love it.I ordered my normal size in Levi’s and these were too small. I have a booty, so maybe it’s that. I couldn’t get them on. I have pair of the 501’s in the same size that fit like a glove, so it must be the cut of where they were manufactured . Super bummed! But these are high quality jeans with no stretch. Maybe order a few sizes to figure out which ones for you.Don’t worry about these being knock offs though. Levi manufactures their jeans in two different countries and have different labels for each. My 501s have the red label, and these have the black one. That could also be why the sizing was so different. Either way, just know they aren’t knock offs…still legit and high quality jeAns!I love everything about these!! The color (neutral ground), the material (heavy thick jean material), the cut, the button fly. These are a classic vintage style Levi. The only issue is that they didn’t fit me the way I had hoped they would. I am typically a size 24 in this style so that’s what I had ordered. I couldn’t even button them up! So I returned and then ordered the size 25. Those buttoned up but felt extremely tight. I kept trying them on and they had loosened up a slight bit but it wasn’t comfortable when I did the “sit test”. I plan on ordering these in a size 26 and try one more time (fingers crossed). But amazon keeps fluctuating their pricing for these!!! One minute the pricing is in the $60 range and then the next minute it shoots back up to the $70 - $80 range! I’ll wait till they are back in the $60 range!
