I used to buy size 2 regular length for NYDJ and had them hemmed because I'm petite. I decided to buy size 2P in moonstone grey. The fit of these is weird. In NYDJ alina size 2 regular, the pipes are usually a bit roomy but not baggy and the waist would fit snug but not tight. These NYDJ alina size 2P, the pipes fit snug, with less stretch than usual NYDJs but the waist gaps at the back.I liked the capri’s unfirtunately theses ran much smaller than the NYDJ usually I wear the same size in all NYDJ.These ran small and had little to know streatch.Unfortunately they were to small.I liked the lacework on the legs is really cute!!these jeans are adorable, the cotton fabric is soft, comfortable and thick as i like them. This last pair i purchased online was SLIGHTLY lower at the waist compared to my other pairs of jeans. I always prefer jeans at or higher at my waist. They are the perfect length for my "towering" height. I am 5.3" tall, 130 pounds and purchase size 6Petite. I am a happy shopper! Thx!!!They do stretch out a little, so you can probably order a bit smaller. Didn't notice any butt lift action.Fits as expected, ordered a size up.These were a little on the tight side. I did keep them hoping they would stretch out.Perfect inseam for me, 4' 11"Look nice & fitted.When you go out of your way to invest in a petite pair of jeans to fit your short height, it is a tremendous disappointment when they turn out to be too long to fit a petite person. These aren't much shorter than a standard pair of jeans. NYDJ please, if you're going to have a petite line don't make it for models of the average height of 163cm, who can barely even count themselves as petite. I'm 158cm but only fit 146cm in pants length, so don't expect everyone to have equally proportional legs even if they are on the tall side of petite. People's bodies are different. Expected shorter legs and taller waist area which was too short and feels uncomfortable in the crotch area.I love NYDJ jeans and own 5 pairs. They have never worn out. Very comfortable and perfect fit on my hard to fit body.
