I purchased the 2 bike rack and needed 1 more bike. Kuat bike racks are great, solid, well designed and integrated security cables.This one bike add-on was simple and easy to add to the Kuat NV 2.0 Base unit. It took me about 20 minutes doing it by myself once I had it out of the box and reading the directions. This was very well packaged as well. The only issue is that the key numbers on the Base unit and the add-on unit are different. But that's not really a big issue and really no way Kuat could insure the keys would be the same. If it is for you a new key and lock set are available from Kuat for not much money. I've used this a few times since purchasing it hauling two e-bikes (about 55 lbs each) and one road bike (17.5 lbs) concurrently. The e-bikes are closest to the car with the road bike on the outer most add-on mount. This distributes the overall weight sufficiently from what I can tell.
