I love these leggings... they look so much like real denim it's nearly impossible to tell the difference just looking at them. The stitching is just like it is on a regular pair of jeans. The back pockets are real (and stretchy, too), but the front ones are fake, and so is the zipper area. It makes for a lot less bulk at the waist/hip area, which is all stretch. The sizing is true, and if not exact- they are forgiving. The inseam is approx 30 inches when new. They fit the legs snug, like leggings should, and they didn't bag out at the knees by the end of an 8 hour day. If you're fortunate enough to not have a muffin top in them, they'd look great with any kind of top. However, for this 53 year old, they look great paired with a tunic length top and a pair of ankle boots. The fabric is soft and stretches easily. It doesn't feel like you're wearing jeans, but it definitely looks it! I bought the Midnight Rinse and strongly recommend washing them separately before wearing- or at least only wash with very dark clothes. I pre washed mine in the sink and the water turned dark blue. I just wore them today, so I need to rewash them, but I'm going to do them in the sink again just to be safe.**Update, the water turned blue in the sink again. It wasn't as dark this time, but I'm still glad I washed them separately. Next time, they're going in with all my regular dark clothes.***Feb 1, 2015 Update: It's been just over 3 months since I first reviewed these jeans. I've worn and washed them (with regular dark loads) many times now, and they're holding up well. No noticeable shrinkage of the waist/hip area, and only a scant 1/2 inch shorter on the inseam. The color (Midnight Rinse) has faded only slightly: they are still a dark inky blue. I've purchased a few other colors and am very happy with all. I highly recommend the Hue brand, and if you keep your eye out, you can find them at discount prices here on Amazon as well as through EBay. I prefer buying here on Amazon for the free shipping and/or returns policy. I bought a pair recently that were sort of irregular, sent them back for a refund and it didn't cost me a dime. As for the irregularity- seeing as I now own 5 pairs of Hue jeans and 4 of their denim skirts and they all look and fit fine, that's not too bad! These leggings are super comfortable, and look like high-quality pants -- not like leggings -- to the casual observer. In that sense, they were exactly what I was looking for.My only problem with these is that the threads pull super easily. In the Graphite color that I ordered, the texture had a raised stitching that contributes to the quality/pant-like look. Unfortunately, because the texture is so raised, the top of my left thigh (where I always rest my left hand, with a wedding set on the ring finger) has a ton of pulled, looped threads. They're constantly getting caught on my ring and yanked out of the fabric, and I haven't been able to stretch the pants in such a way that they can be straightened out. The same looping is happening on the backs of my calves, I guess because they rest against chairs or something. The leggings haven't ripped and are plenty wearable, and I'm not too picky about that sort of thing in my clothes. However, it does make them look sort of unkempt at closer inspection, and I expect some other ladies would have an issue with that. I'm planning to order a second pair in a different color; hopefully they won't have the same problem in another pattern.I love these skinny jeans/leggings... they’re so comfortable! There’s no bulky zipper, waistband, or belt loops. They are soft-stretch all the way, every inch. The back pockets are real, but the front ones are not, which lends more to the lack of bulkiness on the waist and hips. I have 3 pairs of them, midnight rinse, black, and navy. The length on them is a bit long for me, I usually buy petite but these weren’t / aren’t available in petites. The extra fabric on the bottom isn’t a big deal tho-- I fold the cuff under so it doesn’t show. Overall the pants fit snug, so the cuff stays put and it really isn’t noticeable. I wear them with both high and low boots and the look is great! I am between sizes M-L, so I bought the L and I find them a tad loose, but to me, that translates into very comfortable. On another positive note, the fabric is soft, not itchy, and they are so light weight that they dry quick, not like regular jeans. I say light weight, not thin - there’s a difference! I highly recommend trying a pair! BTW, I’m 53, and I have no problem with the look, they’re not just for teens or young women. They’re like super sexy tight mom-jeans, lol. I wear them with tunic length sweaters, and even regular hip length shirts, and they look great.I have 4 pairs of these in various colors and they are so comfortable. No one can tell that they aren't jeans unless they pull on them and see how stretchy they are. In my experience these specific Hue jeggings (the originals) hold their shape better than other Hue legging jeans. I usually wear a small in these but after reading the reviews for the black jeans I ordered a medium. I'm pretty sure I would have been ok with a small but the medium seems fine and I like that it doesn't cut into my waist/hips. Just a warning these do stretch out a bit after awhile, especially in the waist but not so much that they are slipping down. My first pair also got holes in them after about a year but I wore them quite a bit and my other pairs haven't had that problem yet. I also highly recommend turning them inside out before you wash them because the dark colors will fade quickly if you don't and they bleed in the wash the first few times so be careful what you wash them with! I always find measurements helpful so I'm 5" 6", waist 26", hips 37" and the small is the best size for me.I love the jeans, comfortable fit and nice weight fabric. Sometimes white can be a bit sheer and show panty color or lines but these are great.I had try one in a store but the price was double what i paid on Amazon! Those leggings are really soft and really looks like jean. I will by another pair for sure! The quality seems lower than Hues I've bought from the department stores in the past. Not sure why but they stretch out easily and have snagged in multiple places. I've had other pairs for almost 2 yrs and they've never done this.Great product, great quality, great price will order againVery pleased. Love Hue Leggings and will buy again
