Jag Jeans Women's Petite Peri Mid Rise Straight Leg Pull-on Jeans - Comfortable Stretch Denim Pants for Work, Casual & Everyday Wear

The jeans seem to be a good quality fabric and I was quite hopeful that I could arrive at just the right fit for me. Usually if "petites" are an option, I can usually get a good fit. I did want the straight leg and these were labeled as such; however, they actually were as wide at the bottom of the leg opening as my Chic jeans that are supposed to be in between a boot cut and a straight leg. Chic calls it a "leaner leg." When I sat down in the Jag jeans, it seemed that the jeans came down too low in the back, or in the seat. I knew I would be uncomfortable having that part of my body exposed. I was expecting the leg opening at the ankles to be narrower than my Chic jeans, and wanted that look, but since they really didn't come out that way and I was uncomfortable with the backside hanging too low, I was not willing to keep them or pay the almost 2 and a half times the price of the Chic brand.I am short so I typically have to get petite pants, but I am also curvy. Sometimes pants are tight in the rear and loose on my waist. These pants are the perfect fit. Because they are pull-on's the waist still fits wonderfully and you don't get the muffin top as you can with some other brands! I will definitely buy more of this brand.I'm 5 feet, 100 lbs. I have purchased several Jag Jeans in size 4-Petite. The stretch material fits well although they were a couple of inches too long. I hemmed them; no problem. They wash and wear well and are the best and most comfortable jeans I have been able to find any where.I like the look of these jeans. However, they do slide down as you go through the day wearing them. Disappointed because my other Jag Jeans don't do this. I have already washed and worn them, otherwise I would return them.I'm 5'5" weight 150lbs and chose size 10P in black. The best pair of pant I've had so far! Will purchase again, in different colors. The only downside is that it does emit a chemical odor. Other than that, great purchasei have alot of Peri straight leg, petite that fit beautifully. However this last pair are different . The inseam is about1.5 inches longer and the leg opening at the bottom is a good 1 inch wider. I was washed them 4 times in hot water and dried in hot. No change. Good news for some..no shrinkingLove these. Yes you have to pull them up after sitting awhile but not so much as other pull on jeans. I am willing to deal with that rather than have the tummy bulge of a fly zipper.I really like Jag jeans. They fit well and look great. This is my first pair of "pull on" jeans, and although they are quite a struggle to get on at first, once they are on, they are very comfortable and fit very well.
